Palladium
Palladium comes from one of the largest asteroids in the solar system, discovered in 1802 by the German astronaut Heinrich W.M Olbers and first analysed in 1803 by the British William Hyde Wollaston.
Present in only a few mines, this metal, considered precious since 2010, is found mainly in South Africa and Russia, but also in smaller quantities in the United States and Canada.
Its name comes from Greek and Roman mythology, and more precisely from the Goddess of Wisdom Athena, nicknamed "Pallas Athena".
Still little used in the world of jewellery (only 5%), palladium is one of the rarest metals on the market.
Its white colour and natural shine make it ideal for the manufacture of high-quality jewellery.
Palladium is a member of the platinum family, but it is less dense and more resistant.
Light, soft, and malleable, palladium is a metal that does not oxidise, does not tarnish, has a high resistance to corrosion and to very high temperatures.
It is also hypoallergenic and therefore suitable for the most sensitive skin.
You can understand why Milan Noir has chosen palladium for the production of its key rings ' range.
Robust and scratch-resistant, this accessory is the ideal companion for your daily life.
Very light, it allows its holder to carry it as comfortably as possible.
An everyday accessory with elegance and sparkle.
